- What to expect from your Massage Therapy treatment -
Deep Tissue Massage releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the grain of muscles, tendons and fascia. It is called deep tissue, because it also focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It can help reduce pain, increase range of motion, relieve muscle spasms and increase circulation.
Swedish Massage is often referred to as the "relaxing massage." Using light to firm pressure on a range of long smooth strokes, with kneading and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of the muscles, combined with active and passive movements of the joints.
Enjoy deeper dimensions of relaxation and well-being with profoundly penetrating heat. Smooth heated basalt rocks are incorporated into massage therapy techniques, allowing deeper penetration into the muscles, promoting increased circulation and grounding.
Indian Head Massage is an ancient practice that began in India over 5000 years ago. It is based on Ayurveda, which is traditional Hindu medicine focusing on the muscles and connective tissues of the face, neck, scalp, upper back and shoulder area. Used to assist in relief from migraines, sinus inflammation, insomnia and anxiety.
Used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness , and sore shoulders.

Many benefits/insurance companies provide full or partial coverage under extended health care. I provide a receipt for your reimbursement. No direct billing.
In order to ensure enough time to complete your treatment, you should be aware that:
1) Prompt arrival allows me (your therapist) to give you the complete allotted time for treatment.
2) Late arrival reduces treatment to the remainder of your appointment time. The full fee will be charged.
3) If you are unable to honor an appointment, due to illness or other pressing engagements, the courtesy of a phone call would be appreciated. A 24 hour answering machine is available for your convenience. Please call (226) 989-6950.
If a 12 hour notice is given, you will not be charged for a missed appointment.
A cancellation on short notice, or failure to show up for a scheduled appointment will require that you pay for the missed treatment.
4) If you have any insurance coverage of whatever kind you must pay the therapist for the treatment. In turn, you will be reimbursed by the insurance company. For whatever reason, you will be responsible for your payment.
5) Payment may be made in cash, debit or credit.
If you wish to start your paperwork early, you're welcome to download the Health History form and bring it with you. Otherwise, please plan to arrive 5 minutes before your first appointment in order to complete without running into your allotted time.
